Description Error message... "Could not communicate with the CAR_PRO server! Make sure CPServer is running on the host machine and that the network connection is available!" when trying to access CAR_PRO on client PC. This dialog was the one with no place to store a Host IP address.
Symptoms This problem occurred on a Windows XP machine. The PC had 2 seperate user logons setup and one of the logons worked fine but the dialog popped up only on the 2nd user. This problem was also reported on a Windows 98 PC and it had nothing to do with logons...
Cause Unknown
Solution Told the user to logon with the user that works on the XP PC. In the other case we deleted the CARPRO folder from the registry to correct the problem.
