Description |
Problem printing forms over 11 inches long on Okidata ML390 Turbo on Windows XP
|
Symptoms |
When trying to print longer forms the printer stops at the 11 inch mark and spits out the form. Then when a new page is loaded the printer finishes printing the original document.
|
Cause |
According to Okidata support (800-654-3282) the problem is a Windows XP and Printer Driver compatibilty issue.
|
Solution |
Okidata suggests the PC be configured with a standard printer port and not an ECP Port. Also they reccomend that the following drivers be used...
*ML390/391 Turbo - Use Epson LQ2550 driver
*ML320 - Use IBM Proprinter 3 driver
*ML321 - Use IBM Proprinter 2 or XL driver
You may also have to check the printer "length of Form" setting!
User can also contact Okidata directly at (800-654-3282).
