When trying to add a new deal on the Deal Records screen, the application instead pulls up an existing deal.

When trying to add a new deal on the Deal Records screen, the application instead pulls up an existing deal. When checking the error log it is evident that the problem has something to do with a sharing violation of some kind.

The cause is still not known, we suspect that it has some thing to do with a permissions or sharing violation. See Microsoft Article #225351 for further information.

Although this solution has not yet been confirmed we think the following steps may fix the problem:
1) Do a search of your C:\Windows folder for a file named MSJet35.dll.
2) When you find this file, right click on it and check the version.
3) If the version is 3.51.0623 or higher and you have Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT then run the following file... Jet35sp3.exe.
