Description Cannot access program and user gets a message indicating that they will need to wait for another user to exit the program before they can continue.
Symptoms Cannot access program and user gets a message indicating that they will need to wait for another user to exit the program before they can continue, however there are truly not too many users logged on. As an example the user who gets this message may have a floating 4 user license and with only 2 other user currently in CAR_PRO.
Cause This is caused when one or more PC's exit the application in an abnormal manner. Such is the case as when the computer freezes for example while in CAR_PRO. In this case the user may be forced to shut off the PC and restart it. Under normal circumstances when you exit the application the CPServer application keeps track of the fact that you left the program and therefore if frees up one license. If CAR_PRO is not closed in the normal manner then CPServer thinks that the user is still using the program
Solution The quickest way to correct the problem is to have all users exit CAR_PRO and on the host PC, right click on the CPServer icon, located near the clock in the System Tray, and choose "Stop Service". This will reset the server and restore all the licenses.
