Description Cannot add a new vehicle on the Inventory Records screen.
Symptoms Cannot add a vehicle on the Inventory Records screen. When the user clicks the "Add New" button and issues a stock# the system pulls up a different unit on the Inventory Editor screen instead of creating the new one.
Cause After some investigation it was determined that the problem was only happening when the user had switched the "Wholesale/Retail" filter to "Wholesale Only" before clicking the Add New button on the Inventory Records screen. Because "Retail" is the default Inventory type, the program could not land on the newly created record because it was filtered out. In fact once the filter was set back to "Wholesale & Retail" all of the new records were visible and could be edited.
Solution This problem can be solved by simply setting the "Wholesale/Retail" filter to "Wholesale & Retail" before clicking the "Add New" button. The next release (2002.002) will most likely contain a change to prevent this confusion in the future.
